What this policy covers

This policy covers the 207.mortgage website, the calculators and lead forms on the site (The 207 Number, The 207 Move Number, and The 207 Cash Flow Number), and any phone, text, or email conversation that starts from the site. It does not cover third party sites we link to. Once you leave 207.mortgage, that site's own policy applies.

Information you give us

When you use one of our calculators or contact forms, you may share your name, phone number, email address, target purchase price, down payment amount, income, monthly debts, employment status, and rough credit range. When you call or text, we may keep a short record of the conversation so we can pick back up where we left off. We only ask for the information we need to give you an accurate number and to move a live file forward.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, 207.mortgage records basic technical information when you visit, including your device type, browser, approximate location by IP address, the pages you view, and the actions you take (for example, clicking a Get My 207 Number button). We use this to measure what is working, fix what is not, and improve the site over time.

Who we share information with

When you move forward with a loan, we share only what is needed with the wholesale lender chosen for your file, and with the standard service providers involved in a mortgage transaction: credit bureaus, appraisers, title and settlement agents, and the document platforms we use to keep your file organized. Each of those parties is bound to protect your data. We also share information when a law, regulator, or court order requires it.

How long we keep information

Mortgage law requires us to keep loan records for a set number of years after a file closes. Marketing information (for example, someone who requested a number but never moved forward) is kept only as long as it is useful, and then removed.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you. You can ask us to correct information that is wrong. You can ask us to stop contacting you. Security

We use industry standard safeguards to protect the information you share, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on our loan systems. No system is perfectly secure. Children

207.mortgage is intended for adults who are shopping for a home loan on Maine real property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with the date at the top. If we make a material change, we will note it clearly.
